Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including internal and external reports.
  • Provide support to the general ledger system and prepare complex adjusting entries and accruals in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyze and reconcile income statements and balance sheets, and provide financial and non-financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in various committees, working groups, and internal and external projects, and collaborate with staff to improve processes and find efficiencies.
  • Work with staff to maintain the general ledger reports and follow up on client, staff, internal, and external inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance required.
  • CPA Designation required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a computerized accounting environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent team work.
  • Demonstrates initiative and recommends changes.
  • English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
Salary Range

$40.85 to $48.62 per hour
