Job Summary:

The Senior Calibration Specialist will be responsible for leading calibration and repair procedures, testing equipment, and data reporting. This role requires a strong background in electronics repair, preferably in a calibration company or laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve calibration and repair procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough testing of equipment and prepare detailed data reports.
  • Travel to customer sites as required to perform on-site work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with quality management systems, such as ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Utilize expertise in calibration measurement tools and equipment, including Micrometer, Calipers, Straight Edge, Length Standards, Gauge Blocks, Height Gauges, Torque, Temperature, and tension measurements, RF and Microwave procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics repair, preferably in a calibration company or laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting calibrations with various calibration measurement tools and equipment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience with MatCal, LabView, and VBA.
