Optical Lab Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Manager to join our team at Hoya Vision Care Canada. As a Lab Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of production staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the laboratory.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve quality issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all production staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in a production or optical environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Technical knowledge of optical principles and laboratory processes, equipment, and maintenance.
