About the Role

Fresh Taste Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns as required.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
