Job Title: Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Edo Japan.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This includes supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and implementing quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
  • Candidates with relevant certifications or training will be given preference
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach.

Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
