Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Universal Roofs Inc. as part of our building site operations.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding position that requires working outdoors in various locations, often in dusty and underground environments. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt.

You will also assist with tasks like paving and raking asphalt, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and removing rubble and debris from construction sites. Additionally, you will tend to machines and equipment used in construction and direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and other structures
  • Mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Tending to machines and equipment used in construction
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent physical abilities, including manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads. You should also be able to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.

What We Offer

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
