GHD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our Construction Phase Services group in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). As a Junior Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of Highway, Road, and Bridge construction projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with client terms and specifications;
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Inspectors and team members to make payment recommendations;
  • Monitor contractor work and notify supervisors of non-conformances;
  • Maintain accurate project records and diary entries;
  • Work safely and adhere to GHD's Behaviour-Based Safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma or degree;
  • Past experience in construction field work is an asset;
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" driver's licence;
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
