We are seeking a skilled Projects and Operations Coordinator to join our team. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including staff, clients, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex issues and priorities effectively. You will also possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and track service requests
- Review invoicing and validate employee rates of pay and entitlement
- Ensure efficient resource utilization and tracking
- Organize work by ensuring staff are provided with necessary tools and equipment, reviewing technician certifications and equipment calibrations to ensure currency, and tracking service/work orders/POs to prevent cost overruns
- Assist in the development of staff by maintaining and updating the roster of technical staff, scheduling safety, radiation safety, and other required training courses, participating in performance and developmental reviews, identifying opportunities to improve staff satisfaction and engagement, and recommending initiatives to reduce employee turnover
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' industry-related experience or a post-secondary diploma in a related field is required. Supervisory experience and experience in the NDT or engineering industry are preferred.
