We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robot Build Team Lead to join our team at Yaskawa. Key Responsibilities- Lead the build and testing of electrical and mechanical sub-assembly components, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate manufacturing operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct quality control checks and report any discrepancies to the Quality team.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, production schedules, and quality metrics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the manufacturing process.
- Certified Electrical Technician or Technologist with at least 6 years of experience in automated system wiring and electrical panel assembly.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including 5S practices and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
- Proficient use of electrical and mechanical hand tools, as well as hand-operated power tools.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on meeting production deadlines and quality standards. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment, with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically clean and well-maintained, with minimal exposure to hazardous materials.
