Robot Assembly Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robot Build Leader to join our team at Yaskawa. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the assembly and testing of our robots, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the assembly and testing of robots, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement efficient assembly processes, improving productivity and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall manufacturing performance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to the development of new assembly processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certified Electrical Technician or Technologist diploma and at least 6 years of experience in automated system wiring and electrical panel assembly.
- Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in electrical and mechanical hand tools and hand-operated power tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
