About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Producer to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of live and pre-recorded shows, including show development, planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of live and pre-recorded shows, including show development, planning, and execution.
  • Work collaboratively with control room and studio crew on show execution, handling last-minute changes and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with vendors, brand spokespersons, show hosts, and directors to deliver engaging and informative content to drive sales.
  • Liaise with other producers, the merchandising team, and planners on a regular basis to ensure all shows align with TSC standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor sales data and viewer feedback to continually improve and adapt the on-air presentation.
  • Conduct debriefs with hosts, guests, and crew, and prepare post-show reports to assess performance, determine challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work variable shifts on an on-call basis.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in broadcasting, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience producing live programming.
  • Fluent in the digital content space, with an ability to identify trending stories on social media and how TSC can leverage their brands.
  • Must lead by example, manage, and maintain harmony among the staff while ensuring the continued development of the team.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
