Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Transformation team, you will be responsible for leading data migration projects from start to finish. Your expertise will ensure seamless data migration, minimizing disruptions to our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop comprehensive data migration project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and deliverables.
  2. Engage key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are considered throughout the data migration process.
  3. Analyze source data in legacy systems and map it to the target data structure in the new environment.
  4. Collaborate with data engineers to profile source data and identify potential data quality issues.
  5. Develop data validation plans and conduct rigorous testing to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
  6. Identify potential risks and challenges related to data migration and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  7. Coordinate and manage resources involved in the data migration project.
  8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes and outcomes.
  9. Provide post-migration support to users and stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager, with a focus on data migration projects.
  2. In-depth knowledge of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  3. Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  4. Strong understanding of data security and privacy principles and compliance requirements.
  5. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
