Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Shared Health in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms, carrying out peer/trainee functional instruction, and conducting graded exercise tests (GXT).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful contribution to patient care. As a General Duty Cardiology Technologist, you will be working closely with the Program Team Manager, Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Performing electrocardiograms and other related duties as assigned
  • Carrying out peer/trainee functional instruction
  • Conducting graded exercise tests (GXT) and Holter hook-ups and analysis
Requirements
  • Recent experience as a certified Cardiology Technologist is preferred
  • Successful completion of the Cardiology Technician Certification Program from Red River College or other recognized educational institution required
  • Current certification of the Canadian Society of Cardiology technologists (CSCT) required
