Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or marine environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail. The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is also required.
