About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team at Pure IT. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing IT infrastructure projects, providing vCIO services to clients, and designing and implementing on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Provide vCIO services to clients, including auditing, assessing, and documenting their IT infrastructure, processes, and procedures
  • Determine clients' IT requirements and design appropriate on-premises and/or cloud-based solutions
  • Create technical solutions, Bill of Materials, and Statement of Work for client proposals
  • Oversee and conduct Quality Assurance assessments for clients
  • Mentor technical staff and provide escalation support
  • Provide remote and on-site support for clients' IT systems
  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and support client network infrastructure
Requirements
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and documenting on-premises and/or cloud-based IT solutions
  • Strong networking skillset (e.g., Cisco) to design, implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and support client network infrastructure
  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to communicate technical solutions in a way clients and prospects can understand and relate to
  • Flexible and adaptable team player focused on delivering an excellent customer service experience
  • Cloud Certification – Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Administrator/Azure Architect)
  • Microsoft 365 (Intune, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Technical diploma or degree – preferred
  • Cyber Security designation – preferred
  • Windows server operating systems – 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft 365 suite of technologies
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Server
  • Windows desktop operating systems – Windows 7/8/10
  • Networking protocols and equipment (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP routers, firewalls, switches (layer 2 & 3), VLANs, etc.)
  • IaaS virtualized cloud Servers, networks, firewalls
  • Remote Monitoring and Management platforms (e.g., SolarWinds N-Central)
  • Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems (e.g., Autotask)
