Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Education Instructor to join our team at Toronto IBI Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans to facilitate the readaptation and independence of clients with special needs.
  • Collaborate with specialists to design programs that cater to the unique needs of clients, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Assist students in developing life skills, promoting their independence and self-sufficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Special Education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a program dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and staff.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
Work Environment
