Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Learning and Technology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering effective bilingual hybrid learning interventions, with a particular focus on system and software applications. You will work closely with our IT Manager to empower users with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their roles, supporting the work we do with young entrepreneurs across Canada.

This is a full-time position located in our Toronto or Montreal office, with a minimum of two days spent in the office as part of our hybrid work model. The successful candidate will have three years or more experience as a software trainer or in a similar training role, with strong technical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and have experience in supporting Dynamics 365 CE. The ideal candidate will also have a certification in instructional design and adult learning principles, and a proven track record of adapting training strategies to accommodate various audiences.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing comprehensive training programs in English and French tailored to different user levels
  • Designing and implementing training and knowledge management strategies
  • Conducting needs analysis to determine areas for training and building strategies and solutions accordingly
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand software features and functionalities
  • Creating engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos and online tutorials
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent hands-on career experience
  • Three years or more experience as a software trainer or in a similar training role
  • Certification in instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and experience in supporting Dynamics 365 CE
  • Strong technical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer

Futurpreneur offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental benefits, RRSP contribution matching, a health spending account, and flexible hours.
