Job Title:

Senior Auditor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our accounting firm, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients and working closely with senior management to maintain and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients and work closely with senior management to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Plan and execute audit assignments, including transition from previous auditors and onboarding of new clients.
  • Design and implement audit strategy, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of audit services.
  • Comply with firm audit methodology, considering audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
  • Work to deadlines and within budgets, advising on financial reporting and other technical report matters.
  • Contribute to firm/department development and marketing/recruitment initiatives.
  • Participate in internal training courses and coach less experienced staff.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with audit experience in Canada.
  • Fluent French and English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in operational supervision and client relationship management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide guidance and feedback to others.
Compensation:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
