Facilities Booking Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
About the Role
The Victoria Conservatory of Music is seeking a skilled Facilities Booking Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities staff, you will be responsible for managing room bookings, coordinating with faculty and staff, and providing administrative support to the Chief Facilities Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage room bookings and coordinate with faculty and staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Facilities Officer, including room access management, student locker management, and lost and found
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to support VCM event activities
- Work with faculty and staff to facilitate space needs and optimize room usage
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong computer skills and experience with facility management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A background in facilities bookings, school administration, music schools, or office management is an asset
- A friendly and helpful personality who can interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff
