As a key member of the store's Management Team, the Frontend Team Lead/Supervisor plays a vital role in driving the success of the store by fostering a culture of excellent customer service and leading the department to achieve exceptional results in customer experience, sales growth, and profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a high-performing team by providing effective training, coaching, and performance management.
  2. Lead by example and consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  3. Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  4. Ensure the department is adequately staffed and maintained to meet customer needs and store budget.
  5. Supervise and assist team members in daily operations to meet productivity goals.
  6. Communicate and enforce company, store, and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
  7. Assist in selecting and orienting new employees, store opening and closing responsibilities.
  8. Coach and encourage team members to learn new retail operational processes and procedures and new skills to improve performance.
  9. Address issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
Requirements
  1. Experience in retail sales, execution, and operations.
  2. Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience or relevant experience.
  3. Ability to operate a cash register.
  4. Experience in a Canadian Tire store is considered an asset.
  5. Results-oriented individual who thrives on achieving challenging goals.
  6. Ability to serve customers in a professional manner and to inspire their confidence and trust.
  7. Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Effective written and oral communication skills.
  9. Ability to motivate and coach others as well as provide feedback.
  10. Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on team's activities and projects.
  11. Ability to find solutions to problems and make decisions.
  12. Ability to multitask, adapt, and cope with challenging situations.

Working Conditions

The Frontend Team Lead/Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, standing and walking for extended periods, and may be required to lift and/or carry merchandise items as needed.
