We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Prokare Support Services Inc. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Medical Support: Supply and empty bed pans, serve meal trays, and weigh, lift, turn, and position patients as needed.
  • Communication: Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms, make beds, and ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Transportation: Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, and supervise patients' exercise routines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
