At Prokare Support Services Inc, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as toileting and incontinence care.
  • Mobility and Transfers: Safely transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment, and assist with mobility exercises.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Prepare and serve meals to patients, and assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and doing laundry.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and document patient information and care plans.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
