Cloud Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Levio Inc. and contribute to major cloud migration projects for clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in user, product, and software requirements discussions and analysis.
  • Contribute to the definition and documentation of software architecture.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Write and review detailed software technical specifications.
  • Create and update design documentation throughout the lifecycle and review designs of others.
  • Implement performant and reliable software components and services.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a cloud software engineer.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS serverless architecture, including services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest).
  • Experience in Python.
  • Experience with Java or C# (other programming languages will be considered).
  • High proficiency with Cloud Technologies (AWS Preferred).
  • High proficiency with design principles and patterns.
  • High proficiency with debuggers and profilers.
  • High proficiency and understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
