About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Legal Department at Patrola Law. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal team by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to our legal team, including preparing and editing documents, emails, and other correspondence.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including filing systems and databases.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and appointments as needed.
  • Record Keeping
    • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of court sessions, meetings, and conferences.
    • Ensure that all records are properly filed and easily accessible.
  • Office Operations
    • Develop and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective operation.
    • Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Communication
    • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
    • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the legal team.
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College or CEGEP diploma.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
    • Language
      • Fluency in English.
    • Work Environment
      • 35 hours per week.
