Job Title: Quality Assurance Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team at Allied Forming Ltd.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Technologist will be responsible for developing and conducting production, inventory, and quality assurance programs. This includes designing plant layouts and production facilities, developing health, safety, and fire prevention plans, and conducting safety training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production, inventory, and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and develop plant layouts and production facilities to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training programs for employees to ensure they are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support business decisions.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral communication.
  • Flexibility.
  • Organized.
  • Team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
