Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product and service quality. This role involves guiding our Quality Assurance efforts, driving continuous improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and elevate customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain quality guidelines, ensuring all products and processes meet rigorous quality standards.
  • Manage and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) by updating it with incident reports, fixes, and ongoing improvements.
  • Define and track key quality metrics across all stages of production, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on product materials, systems, and processes to guarantee durability and defect-free performance.
  • Investigate the root cause of technical problems and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality issues, providing insights and actionable solutions to minimize defects.
  • Regularly review blueprints, technical documents, and quality reports to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Set and monitor quality assurance goals, aiming for significant improvements in efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Work in close partnership with internal teams to enhance product quality, reduce errors, and boost customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Deep familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation and statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience conducting quality assessments throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Additional certifications in Quality Assurance are highly desirable.
