Key Responsibilities- Deliver short and long-term therapeutic support to families while coordinating and/or referring to external resources
- Identify at-risk families experiencing challenges and develop effective interventions for vulnerable and disengaged families
- Work with Primary Leads and Support Workers to execute client/families' weekly plans, achieve program goals, and meet reunification trajectories
You will provide consultative support for clients/families, including coaching, mentoring, guiding, and supporting them by providing strategies, targeted intervention, and recommendations in various settings. Additionally, you will perform administrative duties such as preparing contact notes, maintaining daily task logs, and completing routine inspection sheets.
Requirements- Motivated, coachable, and organized individual with a passion for working with Indigenous children and families
- Culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and compassionate with the ability to engage with community members in diverse settings
- Proven track record of building collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including government, industry, service providers, and community
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Human Ecology, Addiction Studies, or a related field required
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience. The successful candidate must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License, operational vehicle, and proof of insurance and vehicle registration. This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
