Job Title: Senior Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based microservices using Python, Java, and Go.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX designers, and X1 platform engineers to deliver high-quality product features in the cloud.
  • Design and implement resilient, secure, and efficient code to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with Architects, Product Managers, and other engineering teams to solve problems at scale.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architectures, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least two and preferably all of
    • Experience in building cloud-based microservices in Python
    • Experience in building cloud-based microservices in Java
    • Experience in building cloud-based microservices in Go
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and building/maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems for data processing at scale within AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, etc.
