We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority in Prince George, British Columbia.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will have one year of recent, related acute care or residential experience and be registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.

Responsibilities
  • Work within a client and family-centered care model, applying nursing process, performing assessments, planning, providing nursing care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Operate in accordance with expected competencies, scope of practice, and standards of practice as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Support clients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health by performing duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population dependent on the nature of the caseload (acute care, gerontology, palliative, etc).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assign care and share knowledge with the multidisciplinary team, clients, and families.
