Senior Financial Analyst and Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our Finance team at Magna International Inc. As a Senior Financial Analyst and Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our ongoing finance transformation project. Your primary focus will be on blending your functional finance experience with organizational change management concepts to develop creative content that engages stakeholders across the Finance organization.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, organizational change, and creative content development. You will provide internal services, including supporting strategic planning, execution, and reporting as it relates to new technology, processes, and behaviors. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder communications and engagement, creative and functional training content development, stakeholder sentiment analysis, and project management.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as experience in project management and communications. You should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication/presentation skills. Proficiency in quantifying and analyzing survey sentiments, translating insights into actionable strategies, is also essential. Additionally, you should be skilled in layout and design, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to create compelling visual presentations.

Your Responsibilities- Stakeholder Communications and Engagement
- Support the engagement of stakeholders at all levels to foster a positive change environment across various communication channels.
- Create tailored communication strategies for different stakeholder groups, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging.
- Utilize creative content to address stakeholder concerns and highlight the benefits of financial and organizational changes.
- Produce engaging, multimedia content that brings transparency to ongoing major project activities.
- Creative and Functional Training Content Development
- Design and develop visual presentations, infographics, and other media to communicate key messages clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Lead the pre-production, scripting, and production of video content to support organizational initiatives.
- Utilize various creative tools to craft compelling narratives that resonate with stakeholders and drive engagement.
- Stakeholder Sentiment Analysis
- Analyze gathered survey and/or project-specific data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop quantifiable metrics to assess and interpret survey sentiments, translating qualitative feedback into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with functional project teams to report out and assess implications of sentiment analysis.
- Project Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and manage dependencies and align project deliverables with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
