About the RoleWe're seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our Finance team as a Senior Financial and Communications Analyst. This role requires a unique blend of financial expertise, analytical skills, and organizational change management knowledge to support our finance transformation project.
Your Responsibilities- Stakeholder Communications and Engagement
- Develop and implement tailored communication strategies to engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging.
- Create engaging multimedia content to address stakeholder concerns and highlight the benefits of financial and organizational changes.
- Execute communication and engagement plans that effectively convey project goals and changes to the organization.
- Creative and Functional Training Content Development
- Design and develop visual presentations, infographics, and other media to communicate key messages clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Lead the pre-production, scripting, and production of video content to support organizational initiatives.
- Utilize creative tools to craft compelling narratives that resonate with stakeholders and drive engagement.
- Stakeholder Sentiment Analysis
- Analyze gathered survey and/or project-specific data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop quantifiable metrics to assess and interpret survey sentiments, translating qualitative feedback into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with functional project teams to report out and assess implications of sentiment analysis.
- Project Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and manage dependencies and align project deliverables with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
- Diploma or Degree(s) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
- Project management certification or designation considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience working in the functional finance and accounting role.
- Experience with working in the Automotive and technology industry preferred.
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles, particularly in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficient in quantifying and analyzing survey sentiments, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication/presentation skills.
- Skilled in layout and design, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create compelling visual presentations.
- Some experience in multimedia content development and video production is a plus.
- Organized, with a strategic mindset and a natural inclination for planning and executing creative tactics.
- Flexible, adaptable team player with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Solid understanding of project management approaches, with experience working on cross-functional projects.
- Proficient in project management tools and technologies, including the MS365 suite of products.
