Job Description

Telesat is seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our team. As an Integration Specialist, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions to connect various enterprise business systems within Telesat, ensuring secure seamless data flow and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and participate in the planning of integration projects.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Research and make recommendations on integration products and services.
  • Test and troubleshoot integrations, implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions of integration systems.
  • Provide guidance to other Applications Department members and identify and resolve system integration issues.
  • Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • In-depth experience with API protocols, securing integrations, and automated integration tools.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
  • Proven technical project management experience and strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
