Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Chakkar Express Ltd. As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be responsible for maintaining work records and logs, monitoring personnel workloads and locations, and advising vehicle operators of traffic and other problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to ensure efficient operations
  • Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders to ensure timely resolution
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Maintain vehicle operator work records
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 36 to 40 hours per week
