Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Q400 in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and WestJet Encore standards.
  • Lead by example with honesty, integrity, and effective communication among the crew and our guests.
  • Ensure crew members comply with safety regulations and company requirements during all phases of flight.
  • Deliver an exceptional WestJet guest experience while ensuring a safe and on-time operation.
Requirements
  • Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
  • 2000 hours total time (fixed-wing aircraft)
  • 250 hours fixed-wing pilot-in-command time
  • 500 flight hours under CARs 705, or equivalent
  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating and Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
