Terminal Operations Manager

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a highly skilled Terminal Manager to lead the daily operations and performance of our Kentville, NS location.
Responsibilities:- Supervise the Terminal's daily duties, ensuring that performance, quality, and service standards are met.
- Manage employee relationships and performance management within the terminal, fostering an environment of trust, open communication, and accountability.
- Prepare reports on performance, freight damage, accidents and injuries, customers, and employees to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Work with the Director of NS to forecast equipment and staffing needs based on volumes and customer demand.
- Ensure the Kentville Terminal is compliant with all safety, training, and regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and processes and policies.
- Minimum five years' experience in the transportation and logistics industry or a related field, or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
- Minimum two years' experience in a terminal supervisor role.
- Knowledge of the road transportation industry, including Atlantic Canadian geography and travel times, is considered an asset.
