About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team at Geotab Inc. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze complex financial trends and patterns to inform strategic business decisions
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine assumptions and guide strategic financial planning
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data analysis and provide mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or financial analyst role
  • Strong background in data analysis and data engineering
  • Financial and accounting experience, with a CPA/CMA/CGA designation preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL, Google Big Query, Google Sheets, and Python
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualization
