Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at Fun Park Grande Prairie Inc. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing events that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Selection: Inspect and select sites that meet our event requirements.
  • Marketing and Communication: Develop marketing and communication plans to promote our events.
  • Media Strategies: Develop media strategies and public relations activities to create buzz around our events.
  • Budget Management: Prepare, present, and manage budgets for each event.
  • Logistics: Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services for our guests.
  • Program Design: Research and design special events programs that cater to our guests' interests.
Requirements
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma is required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in event planning is preferred.
  • Skillset: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail is essential.
Benefits
  • Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
