Programme Director - Aviation/Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead our aviation infrastructure programme in Toronto, Canada. This is a unique opportunity to work with Mace North America and contribute to the development of a world-class airport.

About the Programme

The programme aims to revolutionize the airport into one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger-friendly facilities in the world. We are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and positioning the airport as a leader in environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the programme team and ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure and enhance programme performance
  • Manage key client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Act as the public face of the programme and represent it to external stakeholders
  • Uphold high standards of quality, cost, programme, sustainability, governance, risk, stakeholder management, and programme compliance
  • Implement and maintain an effective risk management strategy
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programs in the transportation sector
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on
  • Experience working in the aviation infrastructure sector
  • Previous experience working with the GTAA (Greater Toronto Airports Authority) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable field
