Programme Director - Aviation/Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead our aviation infrastructure programme in Toronto, Canada. This is a unique opportunity to work with Mace North America and contribute to the development of a world-class airport.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in the aviation infrastructure sector. They will be responsible for leading a team of experts to deliver the programme, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Programme Director will be accountable for the overall programme strategy, including the development of the programme plan, budget, and resource allocation. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the programme is aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex programmes, with experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. They will also have a deep understanding of the aviation infrastructure sector, including the latest trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the programme team to deliver the programme on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement the programme plan, budget, and resource allocation
  • Ensure that the programme is aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
  • Develop and implement a risk management strategy to mitigate potential risks to the programme
  • Ensure that the programme is delivered in accordance with the company's quality management system
Requirements:
  • Strong background in programme management, with experience in the aviation infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record of delivering complex programmes
  • Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
  • Deep understanding of the aviation infrastructure sector, including the latest trends and technologies
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects
