Job Title: Construction Labourer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer to join our team at Gavan Construction Company Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and assisting with drilling and blasting rock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Assist skilled tradespersons
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
