Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Part-time Store Leader to join our team at Designer Brands.
As a Part-time Store Leader, you will report to the Store Manager and assist in leading the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuming a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintaining exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge.
- Facilitating achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
- Coaching and providing feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success.
- Fostering teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintaining effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
- Opening and closing the store proficiently.
Requirements:
- Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Excellent customer service and strong will to assist customer needs.
- Motivated and driven to achieve results.
- Ability to work efficiently in the fast-paced team environment.
- Openness to learn and develop new skills.
- Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts, including closing shifts and weekends as required.
