We are seeking a skilled Renal Technician to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. As a Renal Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of dialysis equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and set up dialysis equipment and supplies for patient treatment, including attaching tubing, calibrating alarms, and setting monitors.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dialysis equipment to maintain its optimal functioning.
- Assist with patient mobilization and preparation for dialysis, including transporting patients, taking vital signs, and reporting to nursing staff.
- Monitor and adjust equipment during dialysis under the direction of nursing and medical staff, and report any alarms or issues to the nursing staff.
