About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to join our team at ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks North America. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient production schedule, ensuring timely shipment of products, and contributing to long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate production requirements, considering machine and labor resources, to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate raw materials, efficient material flow, and timely shipment of products to meet daily production requirements.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Assist in proactive planning of manufacturing processes, ensuring that capability and performance targets are met.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage international freight requirements, coordinate with suppliers and external customers, and maintain accurate shipping schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop the materials group, providing manufacturing and technical knowledge to support production processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of recent material management experience at the Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive Supplier level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and experience working with AS400 systems or other relevant MRP systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams, and high degree of integrity.
