Join Our Team as a Civil Engineer in Training

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer in Training to join our team in the Community Development department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of land development projects for our clients in the Saskatchewan and southern Alberta region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare designs for site grading and site servicing, including water distribution, sanitary sewers, storm water management, shallow utilities, and erosion control design.
  • Support the preparation of construction drawings and technical reports.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews for various deliverables.
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience as an on-site observer for active construction projects, liaising with contractors, surveyors, and municipal inspectors.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, including site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway, lot design, and stormwater engineering concepts.
  • Ability to work as a team player and engage in constructive and creative collaboration.
  • Willingness to learn additional skills in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, PCSWMM, and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver's license and access to a vehicle.
