Kumar Architecture Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Building Design and Project Management Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Senior Building Design and Project Management Specialist will be responsible for managing technical activities in architecture or engineering projects, including project coordination and overall integration of technical activities.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with strong project coordination and architectural research skills, as well as experience in new construction, renovation, and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building Design: Conceptualize and design buildings, developing plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules.
  • Project Management: Manage technical activities in architecture or engineering projects, including project coordination and overall integration of technical activities.
  • Document Preparation: Supervise the preparation of construction documents and drawings for use by contractors and tradespersons.
  • Site Management: Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.

Team Management

  • Supervise 3-4 people, including technologists, technicians, and other architects.
  • Work with contractors to ensure successful project completion.

Technical Skills

  • Autodesk REVIT
  • SketchUp
  • InDesign

Work Environment

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work under pressure with attention to detail.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
