Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Atlas Polar Company Limited. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical systems and equipment
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment, including power plants, machines, and equipment
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
- Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, including design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
