About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Atlas Polar Company Limited. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical systems and equipment
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment, including power plants, machines, and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, and development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Windows, and project management software
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
