About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Services Team Lead to join our team in Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians in delivering high-quality projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, including design, procurement, and construction;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including provincial building code, electrical code, CSA, ULC, IEEE, IES, and NFPA standards;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes and team performance;
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and proposing strategies to capture new business;
Requirements
  • Possess P.Eng or C.E.T. designation;
  • Hold 8+ years of project engineering experience in electrical building services, preferably with leadership roles;
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members;
  • Show expertise in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation;
  • Have experience working with other consultants and contractors, coordinating major projects, and developing lasting relationships with clients;
  • Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable design principles is an asset;
  • Ability to develop professional presentations, chair meetings, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (if required);
  • Authorization to work in Canada;
