We are seeking a highly skilled Library Support Specialist to join our team at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). As a key member of our library team, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers in our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the operation of the library facility, providing direct service to students and/or teachers.
- Support students and volunteers under the supervision of teaching staff in coordinating library activities and the use of library facilities.
- Process, store, loan, and maintain all materials in the library.
- Work in a team environment, reporting directly to the School Principal or designate.
A Diploma in Library Information Management or equivalent training and experience is required.
