Job Opportunity at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Dialysis department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in dialysis care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration and Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum one (1) year recent medical/surgical experience.
  • Nephrology experience and/or completion of the Nephrology certificate preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly developed assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
